Welcome to Intermedia Cruises
– a sample of some of the most beautiful cruising options available
– from the unparalleled luxury, grace and beauty of majestic ocean liners, to the increasingly popular European River Boats, and also in China, Myanmar and America

Dancing and Activities form important components of most cruises and with many cruise ships including basic dance lessons it's an opportunity to engage in a healthy exercise without feeling guilty about sampling the sumptuous meals on board!  The dance sessions are always extremely popular.  Activities can vary with the type of ship - from wall climbing to ice skating or even simple activities like arts and crafts.  There's also art auctions and wine tastings; something for everyone including special facilities and games for children. With cruising the biggest growth sector in travel, visiting every Continent in the world, and  many ships scheduled to be launched in the next few years, the choice will be boundless !

You'll never be bored on a cruise - in fact there is usually not enough time to do all the things you would like to take part in especially if the cruise itinerary has many different ports of call.  With most of the major cities of the world built around the coast or by large rivers, cruising is the most natural way to visit - no traffic jams, wrong directions, long customs and immigration queues.  And beside, you only unpack once in seven, fourteen or longer days depending on the duration of the cruise !

Tahiti onboard the Paul Gauguin

Is there any group of islands in the world as romantic as the Society Islands? Or as beautiful, for that matter? They inspired a mutiny on the infamous Bounty. They captured the imagination of Paul Gauguin. They've been immortalised by some of the world's great writers from Herman Melville, Robert Louis Stevenson and James Michener to Somerset Maugham. These sirens of the South Pacific evoke balmy days, sultry nights and panoramas that could only have been created by Nature in her finest hour. Here giant curls of turquoise break onto reefs that protect blue lagoons and white beaches. Jagged peaks crown emerald rain forests, while some islands appear barely to float above the breaking waves – but what truly distinguishes French Polynesia is the people. You'll see their love for these islands through music, dance and flowers. Their hospitality is legendary.

Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria,  a Cunard liner that includes not only hallmark features associated with the luxury brand, but also exciting innovations including private viewing boxes in the Royal Court Theatre, alfresco dining for Grill guests, a floating museum display of Cunard memorabilia (Cunardia), and a two-story library with nearly 6,000 books. As with sister ship, QM2 and the launch in 2010 of the new Queen Elizabeth, there are many different restaurants for dining and an outdoor alfresco Grill experience. Orion Australia

“Whatever image the word ‘cruise’ evokes for you, we invite you to put it aside as it is unlikely to do justice to the Orion experience,” says Sarina Bratton, Founder and Managing Director of Orion Australia.

Orion is a vessel, custom built for voyages of exploration, and is considerably smaller than conventional cruise ships. She is small enough to allow you to explore places inaccessible to large ships, yet big enough to offer you the comfort and amenity of a luxurious private hotel.

Discover the hidden treasures of Australasia: on voyages from 7 to 20 nights, you can experience the enchantment and staggering beauty of places like Arnhem Land and Antarctica, the vibrant colours of the Kimberley, or cultures as diverse as those found in Papua New Guinea and new destinations such as New Zealand.
